Dolls 2002

In this visually stunning drama, three romantic tales are told using elements of Japanese Bunraku puppet theater. In the first, Sawako (Miho Kanno) becomes suicidal when her fiancé, Matsumoto (Hidetoshi Nishijima), leaves her to marry the boss's daughter. Next, an obsessed fan, Nukui (Tsutomu Takeshige), expresses his love for pop singer Haruna (Kyôko Fukada) in a highly violent manner. Then, aging gangster Hiro (Tatsuya Mihashi) attempts to reconnect with an old flame (Chieko Matsubara).

The Duchess (2008)

Georgiana Spencer became Duchess of Devonshire on her marriage to the Duke in 1774, at the height of the Georgian period, a period of fashion, decadence, and political change. Spirited and adored by the public at large she quickly found her marriage to be a disappointment, defined by her duty to produce a male heir and the Duke's philandering and callous indifference to her. She befriends Lady Bess but finds she is once again betrayed by her husband who wields his power with the three eventually living uncomfortably together. Against this background, and with the pressures of an unfaithful husband, strict social pressures and constant public scrutiny, Georgiana falls passionately in love with Charles Grey, a rising young Whig politician. However, despite his ongoing liaison with Lady Bess, the Duke refuses to allow her to continue the affair and threatens to take her children from her.

Sunshine (1999)

The film follows a Jewish family living in Hungary through three generations, rising from humble beginnings to positions of wealth and power in the crumbling Austro-Hungarian Empire. The patriarch becomes a prominent judge but is torn when his government sanctions anti-Jewish persecutions. His son converts to Christianity to advance his career as a champion fencer and Olympic hero, but is caught up in the Holocaust. Finally, the grandson, after surviving war, revolution, loss and betrayal, realizes that his ultimate allegiance must be to himself and his heritage.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

On the day that Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans, elderly Daisy Williams (nee Fuller) is on her deathbed in a New Orleans hospital. At her side is her adult daughter, Caroline. Daisy asks Caroline to read to her aloud the diary of Daisy's lifelong friend, Benjamin Button. Benjamin's diary recounts his entire extraordinary life, the primary unusual aspect of which was his aging backwards, being diagnosed with several aging diseases at birth and thus given little chance of survival, but who does survive and gets younger with time. Abandoned by his biological father, Thomas Button, after Benjamin's biological mother died in childbirth, Benjamin was raised by Queenie, a black woman and caregiver at a seniors home. Daisy's grandmother was a resident at that home, which is where she first met Benjamin. Although separated through the years, Daisy and Benjamin remain in contact throughout their lives, reconnecting in their forties when in age they finally match up. Some of the revelations ...

Children Underground (2001)

One of the most astonishing and engaging cinematic works of the past decade, CHILDREN UNDERGROUND is a profoundly intimate and heart-wrenching drama about homeless children struggling for survival on the streets and in the subways of Bucharest, Romania.

Dogville (2003)

Late one night, a beautiful and well-dressed young woman, Grace, arrives in the mountainous old mining town of Dogville as a fugitive; following the sound of gunshots in the distance which have been heard by Tom, the self-appointed moral spokesman for the town. Persuaded by Tom, the town agree to hide Grace, and in return she freely helps the locals. However, when the Sheriff from a neighbouring town posts a Missing notice, advertising a reward for revealing her whereabouts, the townsfolk require a better deal from Grace, in return for their silence; and when the Sheriff returns some weeks later with a Wanted poster, even though the citizens know her to be innocent of the false charges against her, the town's sense of goodness takes a sinister turn and the price of Grace's freedom becomes a workload and treatment akin to that of a slave. But Grace has a deadly secret that the townsfolk will eventually encounter.

The Remains Of The Day

A rule bound head butler's world of manners and decorum in the household he maintains is tested by the arrival of a housekeeper who falls in love with him in post-WWI Britain. The possibility of romance and his master's cultivation of ties with the Nazi cause challenge his carefully maintained veneer of servitude.

Dark Love

Sometimes I just hate u so much
Cus u making me think too much
U giving me dark thoughts
Ah gat nothing for u but dark love
If ah can't have u then let the reaper have u
This fire in ma heart gonna burn u

I just hope U should take ur own life
With some pills or ah could lend u a knife
U gave me ur words u wouldn't leave
Bt look how they fall like old leaves
Ur promises just got broken
Like what am doing to ur picture frames
AMA haunt u in the open
Am serious am not playing games
AMA just let ur mind do that to u
Like am slaming doors and u pullin ur hairs
Am pushing u down a thousand stairs
Break ur legs but ah don't care
U should love me or no one else

My Queen

Her eyes as red as Blood
Her lips as soft as a Dead's person's skin
Her skin as soft as Bones of the Dead
Her hair as Black as Ashes of your Death
Her temper as Dark and Painful as Death is self
Her voice as soft as it can be but watch out
you disappoint her and it appears that Satan its self is there

This is my Queen
The Queen that I sworn to protect
Till the very end
She will always be the Queen of Hell so be care full or you might Die

For all the pain

For all the pain that I am to feel,
I will always be able to heal,
But because of my love for you,
There really isn’t any healing to do.

My heart was yours, saved in a locked box,
Held tight and you wound its gears like a clock’s,
But because of your choice to go, it has left pain,
And I won’t get the chance again to kiss you everyday.

I can hardly breathe, my chest is so weighted,
I took my heart back, only to have it plated,
In front of your house, staring up at your window,
Waiting for you to look down at me, winning the limbo.

My sadness is back, lost grip of your hand,
Letting go when we were together by the sand,
We are still friends, but that feeling isn’t the same,
Never really knew the rules of our little love game.

I need you back again, please come,
I can’t get used to this feeling of being numb,
My heart is cold again, and it really stings,
But sometimes I tell myself, that love and pain,
Are the same things.

Aa Kisi Sham

Aa Kisi Sham Kisi Yad Ki Dehleez Pe Aa,
Umar Guzri Tujhe Dekhe Howay Behlaye Howay

Yad Hai?
Hum Tujhe Dil Mante Thay
Apne Seene Mein,
Machalta Howa Zidi sa Bacha
Tere Har Naz Ko,
Ungli Se Pakar Kar Aksar

Nit Naye Khawabon,
K Bazar Mein Le Aate Thay
Tere,Har Nakhre Ki Farmaish Par,
Aik Jeewan Ki Tamanaon Ki Beenai Se,
Hum Dekhte Thakte hi Na Thay

Sochtay Thay,
Aik Chota Sa Naya Ghar,
Mohabbat Ki Fiza
Hum Dono,
Aur Kisi Bat Pe Takion Se Larai Apni,
Phir Larai Mein Kabhi Hanste Howay Ro Parna,
Aur Kabhi Rote Howay Hans Parna,
Aur Thak Haar Kar Gir Parne Ka Mosam,
Khushi Bakhsh Khayal

Yad Hai?
Hum Tujhe Sukh Jante Thay
Rat Hans perti Thi,
Be Sakhta drshan Se Tere
Dil Teri Doori Se Ro Parta Tha,

yad hai?
Hum Tujhe Jan Kaha Karte Thay,
Teri Khamoshi Se Mar Jate,
Teri Aawaz Se Jee Uthte Thay,
Tujh Ko Choo Lene Se Ek Zindagi Aa Jati Thi,
Sharyano Mein
Thaam Lene Se, Koi Shehr Sa Bas Jata Tha Veerano Mein,

Yad Hai?
Hum Tujhe emaan kaha kerte the,
Kufar Se Dar Jate Thay
Tere Chin Jane Ka Dar,
Theek Se Rakhta Tha Musalman Humain,

Aa Kisi Sham Kisi Yad Ki Dehleez Pe Aa,
Tere Bhoole Howay Raston Pe,
Liye Phirta Hai Eman Humain,
Aur Kehta Hai K Pehchan Humain,
Yad Hai ?
Hum Tujhe Eman Kaha Karte Thay.................!

Hum B Kisi Ka Khawab the

Aa Tujhe Haath Laga ker kabhi Mehsoos Karoon

"Tears In Heaven"

"Tears In Heaven"

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?

I'll find my way
Through night and day,
'Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven.

Time can bring you down,
Time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart,
Have you begging please, begging please.

Beyond the door,
There's peace I'm sure,
And I know there'll be no more
Tears in heaven.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven.

I Understand

I Understand

If dreams are memories
And memories are dreams
Then where is the reality that i seek
From what it seems
It's as if I understand nothing
And one who understands nothing knows nothing at all

These dreams are fading
And so are my memories
I keep trying to line the pieces up
But as I reach for them they fade away
Once again I understand nothing
And one who understands nothing knows nothing at all

My dreams are now hazy
And so are my memories
I try to remember what I've done
But it's all just a blur
Again I understand nothing
And one who understands nothing knows nothing at all

These dreams are coming to an end
And so are my memories
The light is fading
And the darkness is beginning smothering me
I understand nothing
And one who understands nothing knows nothing at all

My dreams have finally ended
And my memories have all but faded
I finally understand what i couldn't see
These memories and dreams were never really meant for me
I finally understand that these dreams and memories are not whats fading away
But I am whats fading into this dark abyss
To understand that you never truly exist
To realize your just a fading dream and memory
Knowing everything you knew will be gone soon
I understand
And one who understands everything knows everything there is......

sleepless nights and endless dreams

During sleepless nights....
i pretend that the past isn't real
it brings back how i used to feel
so much sadness in my hopeless life...
never knew things would change so fast
your not here and I'm alone
trying to runaway from this pain that has grown
i feel so empty now your gone
there's so much crying; i feel like dying
this one is for you
and these words aren't brand new
though it's coming from the heart
thank you for the life you given me
thank you for the hope ; I'm finally free
you'll always be in my mind
cross my heart, hope to die
i never will forget you
i can't go on without you
i hope this wish will come true
During sleepless nights and endless dreams
these words inside my heart
stay in there till we're apart
feel these tears coming in my eyes
i try not to cry I'll try
this shooting pain in my eyes
can't hold it anymore
you're gone; you walked away
now I'm colder then the ocean breeze
now you're to far gone
please stay with me
i promised myself i would not cry
then a silent tear falls from my eye
you're the only place i can put myself
no hopes or dreams
can fill my tumbling days
after you're gone.

Computer part-1

Here’s an infographic that explains the details of a nicely lucrative occupation – data entry. It details your competition, where the jobs are at and what the average salary is in the top five states, and which sub-occupations are most needed. Then it explains which skills are the most common, and which sites have the most job listings in the data entry field.
Competition is sort of low, country-wide, so you might want to extend your search to any other states you wouldn’t mind living in. A career move is always a good reason to move to another state, but make sure you’ve got the job lined up and guaranteed before you actually move out of the state you’re already in.

The top five states for new hires has a rate of pay that is about double what minimum wage is, so there’s no need to take a second job, unless your expenses are higher than normal. Data entry isn’t about getting rich quick, or even slowly, but it’s a stable occupation, and one that is going to be around for a very long time. The average national salary for data entry jobs has steadily risen, with no lags or lulls in the years since 2010. Data for salaries in 2015 isn’t in yet, though, but it’s expected to rise even more, as well as rise again in 2016.
There are several different titles you might want to search for in your quest for a data entry job. There are specialists, supervisors, techs, clerks, operators, and representatives. Leaving one out in your search might cause you to skip that perfect job you should apply for.
It’s not all just data entry, but other skills can help you land that next great job. Data entry is a good item to have on your resume, but don’t forget about skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and also speed typing, and data processing. Those skill sets get attention on your resume because employers need individuals who can handle the software that is used and who can also complete tasks quickly.
From just over 10,000 jobs, to over a quarter of a million, where will you search next? When there are more jobs posted, there is less competition. It’s also easier to find several different ones that you can apply to that matches more of your own criteria.
So check it out and polish up your skills, and then get ready to apply so you can find a better job for yourself. The nice people at Gonna Type made this infographic so you can keep these facts and figures in your mind a bit more easily.

Arduino ntegrated Circuit
Arduino has proven to be more successful than many powerful computing boards that have been in the market for a long time. The Arduino community has grown to more than 100,000 users strong. But what exactly is Arduino? Simply put, Arduino is a programmable circuit board. It has grown popular among designers, scientists, hobbyists, programmers, engineers and hardware hackers. It enhances interactivity to project and objects and comes with a myriad of benefits to the user.

Benefits of Using Arduino

Whenever you use Arduino, you will enjoy the speed and the simplicity of prototyping. You can hook up an LCD and start displaying text in a few minutes. With Arduino, only your imagination will limit you. It has this unrivalled ability to transform the ideas in your mind to great applicable projects. To this end, it is a reliable tool for programmers, designers and hobbyists to express their ideas through real projects.

What sets Arduino apart is that it gives you full control of your projects from prototyping to converting them to real products. With Arduino, you dig deep into the microcontroller to optimize your code and remove items that do not fit. This way, you will have the exact project you have imagined.
To make your work easier, Arduino provides you with code libraries and pre-wiring for prototyping. This helps you test your ideas in lieu of spending all your hours writing codes and building supportive circuitry. This in turn makes the process much less difficult and reduces the time you spend creating.

Arduino for Beginners

You can get information about Arduino online, in work places and also on programming books. If you are just getting started, be sure to understand an Arduino program, learn how to control outputs, comprehend the Arduino board and learn how to connect with your computer. There are a number of resources that beginners can refer to. They include instructables, YouTube, Books and various Arduino Blogs among others. You can also search for other sites that offer Arduino guidelines.

Why Arduino is here to Stay

One thing that has made Arduino so popular is the fact that money is not a limitation to making your projects real; the barrier is philosophical. You do not need to worry about writing a forest of code, Mac support or even writing tons of IDEs and software. Though chip companies will come and try to beat Arduino’s $30 price, this will not matter as long as the quality and the support that users get from Arduino stays on an all-time high.
The other reason why Arduino is here to stay is that chip companies hate to write a lot of code. They have to write great software for many systems and build lots of libraries and drivers that work on all systems to get more than 100,000 users to beat Arduino. Before a chip company (chip companies make the platforms) makes a board whose functionality and benefits match that of Arduino, Arduino will have developed further.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Arduino is different from chipmaker made boards in that it has sensors to detect your environment, it is low cost and open source, it runs on metal, runs on Mac, Linux and Windows and is easy to use.

In recent years, high definition (HD) video has become the norm for most purposes and it is common for even online streaming video to be broadcasted in HD. Assuming you want to record HD video directly from your screen, you can do so provided you’re using screen capture software that supports it – such as the Movavi Screen Capture Studio. If you’re worried that capturing HD video from your screen will be tricky – don’t be. The fact of the matter is that one of the most appealing advantages of the Movavi Screen Capture Studio is that it has a well-deserved reputation for being user-friendly and easy to use. Its intuitive nature ensures that even a complete beginner will be able to learn how to use it in no time, and it will probably take you just a couple of minutes to figure out what you need to do.

To capture HD video, you just need to follow these steps:
  1. Select the capture area that you wish to record. It could be a specific area or window, or even the entire screen in full HD if that is what is needed.
  2. Check to make sure that the frame rate is set to 60 frames per second (fps) so that the video will be of optimal quality. To do this, click on the Capture menu and find the Preferences and then locate the Video tab.
  3. Start the recording by clicking on the ‘REC’ button.
  4. Once you’re satisfied you can stop the recording and save it using one of the presets available to automatically optimize it based on the device or platform that you intend it to be used on.
  5. For all of its ease of use however, the software still comes with numerous powerful features that extend its capabilities far beyond simply using it to capture HD video. As a matter of fact, you’ll find that you’re able to use its features to create some truly professional looking videos.
Whether you want to trim out unwanted parts of your video, include filters or special effects, add music or subtitles, and much more – the Movavi Screen Capture Studio will serve up the features that you need to do so. Because all of these features adopt the same intuitive approach of the rest of the software, putting them to use and really taking advantage of their potential should be a piece of cake.
The best way to see what’s possible with the software would be to try it out for yourself. Experiment and get a feel for it – odds are it won’t take you long to see that it really is extremely easy to use.

There are many different kinds of servers in the market today. For the uninformed, servers typically look like desktop computers and they seemingly work in the same way. However, if you take the time to truly understand how a server works and how it functions as a core business processing unit, you will find that servers can offer a whole new level of business services unlike any other piece of equipment out on the market today.
When trying to find a server that will suit your needs, you will want to make sure that you keep in mind the following things:

1. Your business requirements. One of the main things that you want to look at is the requirements of your business itself. You have to first and foremost determine if there is indeed a need for a server for your business. This is only logical since you will naturally incur additional costs when purchasing a server unit. It is likely that the purchase of a server would set you back quite a bit, especially if you are thinking about purchasing a high performance server unit. Thus, you have to think about whether you truly require a server for your business.
2. System requirements. Once you have established that you do need a server, the next thing to think about is what you need from the server itself. Servers can perform almost any task for you quite easily, and thus you will have to think about what you need exactly for your business in order to be able to find the best fitting server unit for your needs. For this, a good deal of research is required. Some of the things to consider include: the server capacity, server specifications, server speed, and server durability.

3. Price. One of the next things to think about is how much you are willing to dish out for a server unit. You will have to have a budget in mind so that you will not end up overspending for a server unit that is well beyond your price range. Keep in mind that you are purchasing a server for an increase in profit, not the other way around.
4. Sources. After you have considered all of the basic things, you will then have to do some research and find out where exactly you can get good deals for your server purchase. You will want to check out a wide range of options such as server companies in Australia like Arrow Voice to be able to find the best possible choice.
5. Alternative options. Lastly, you will also have to consider looking at other alternative options such as using cloud servers or adopting virtualization. These options are different from just straight up purchasing a server unit since they would deal with data and resources in a totally different way as compared to regular server units. It would therefore be a good idea to look into these options and see whether they are a better fit for your needs compared to a typical server unit.

Design of video games is perhaps one of the most exciting and at the same time most competitive careers that one can have. The field is especially attractive to those who have a passion for computer technology and entertainment design that is interactive. Video game design is possibly a dream job for millions of kids whose worlds are ruled by gaming consoles or computer games, however to enjoy a fulfilling career not only must they have an overriding passion for the subject but also equip themselves with the proper education and skills.

What Do Game Designers Do?

Designers of video games use a complex combination of computer technology, engineering, science, math, animation, art and design skills to create action-packed video games that are so realistic and engaging that they rake in billions of dollars in sales across the globe. The designers also create games for other platforms such as mobile devices and web-connected devices. Game designers play a very important part in the team of game developers. Roles can include designing characters, deciding game levels, creating puzzles, animation and art. They usually start off by writing programming code in the specified computer language and progress to testing games and project management.

How Remunerative Is Video Game Design?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the average salary of professionals belonging to the Applications Software Developers; the career-group that game designers belong to, is $90,060 per year. Other reports suggest this to be in between 70,000 and $90,000 per annum, making them among the highest-paid in the entertainment sector. Individual salaries can however vary greatly according to expertise, education, experience, industry, location and the employer.

Education Requirements

As the video gaming industry matures and emerges as a serious business sector, more and more educational institutes are creating curricula that are relevant and support game design careers. Usually the media or the computer science departments will offer courses in video game design. Typically, game designers will be equipped with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or more increasingly in game design. These courses normally take four or five years to complete after high school. Structured courses in video game design will include components like level design, game prototyping, integrated video design, and project management. Designers are expected to have a creative bent of mind and be great in storytelling. Needless to say teamwork and leadership DNAs are prerequisites to careers that progresses fast. Visit gamedesigning.org to get a detailed understanding of how to make a career in this area.

Skill Requirements

Apart from programming skills that will be required in the early stages of the career, game designers will need to have advanced skills in managing schedules, timelines, and budgets when engaged in managerial roles. Enhanced communication skills, sectoral and domain knowledge, as well as logical mind with an eye for detail are important attributes that will pave the way for success.

How to Be Successful

Even though you may get disbelieving looks, it is necessary to spend a great amount of time playing video games to get familiarity of the way how video games are structured. A large exposure to different types of video games will also help aspirants to figure out trends in video technology as well as commercial trends. Joining a gaming club can be beneficial as it helps to act as a discussion forum with like-minded individuals and benefit from a collective learning experience. Even after relevant education it is vital to gain real-life exposure to game development. The usual way is to scout around for internship opportunities as getting a proper job in early stage can be quite difficult. Typically, gaming development companies have content designers as well as level and lead designers. It can also be helpful to develop your own games using inexpensive or even free programs so that you become more familiar with every aspect of game design and get an edge over the others.

When was the last time you backed up your computer? Last week? Last year? Never? A good backup plan can save your tail, but for some, this realization comes too little too late, and they’re left scrambling to recover crucial files. Consider this: only 50% of all enterprises back up their computers to some form of endpoint backup. This can leave a company vulnerable to all manner of errors – human, operational, and even natural disasters. What’s more, organizations encounter unplanned system downtime an estimated 13 times per year, which can end up costing a company hundreds of thousands of dollars if they’re not careful.
Not only can untamed data loss become a massive money sinkhole, but it can become a time suck and reputation killer as well. Employees tasked with data recovery efforts have to turn their time away from major projects, stalling and even stopping productivity. This can lead to missed business opportunities, a loss of employee morale, and eventually a damaged reputation. If data loss is not managed preventatively, it can snowball into a much more difficult problem that can ultimately take months to reverse.
The following infographic from cloud computing company SingleHop outlines some of the costs and causes of data loss. Fortunately, today’s IT professionals recognize the need for preventative backup plans. 78% of today’s IT leaders plan to change their protection product in the next two years, with 64% of IT leaders already storing their company data in the cloud. Data has become one of a company’s most valuable assets as we press forward into the Information Age. A solid backup plan can help mitigate the cost of loss and give your company the peace of mind it deserves.

While we often feel safe browsing online from the comfort of our home or office, the worldwide web is not necessarily always a nice safe place. There are plenty of wonderful websites and companies online that provide us with quality service and ensure that they will keep our information safe. Unfortunately, not every site works this way. There are many people who use fake websites to access confidential information and steal money. Thankfully there are a few steps we can take to help keep us away from illegitimate websites.

1. Do a Little Research

Are you shopping on a website you’ve never heard of? Do the sites deals seem a little too good to be true? Do a little of your own personal research to learn more about the site. Use your search engine of choice to find out a little more. Looking up reviews of the site is a great place to start. If the website is not legitimate you will most likely find some negative reviews out there.

2. Contact the Website Via E-Mail or Phone

Checking a websites contact information is one of the best ways to not only find out if a site is legitimate, but also to see if a website is professional. First, you will want to see if the site simply provides contact information. If it is challenging to find any contact information then this is a huge sign that this site may not be legitimate.

If you are able to find contact information, try using this information to contact the site. If the line is disconnected, or you do not receive any kind of response, you should be wary of this site. Even if the site is legitimate, not having an adequate way of contacting the site and/or business is concerning.

3. Does the Site Name Have an SSL?

A fraudulent website may not purchase a Secure Sockets Layer, more commonly known as a SSL certificate. A SSL certificate will help ensure that any data or sensitive information inputted into the website is transferred in a secure and safe manner. You can identify a secure website with SSL certification as the web address will have a lock symbol next to it and start with HTTPS (not HTTP).
A site without SSL may be legitimate, but it means they can not necessarily guarantee the security of any information inputted on the site. It is best to stay away from websites without SSL, regardless if they are legitimate or not.

4. Check Out the BBB

When in doubt over a website, the BBB, or Better Business Bureau, website is a great resource to help you learn more about a site. Check to see if they have any reviews about the company. If you find out that the site has negative reviews then this is another red flag to stay far away from that particular company or site.

5. Trust Your Judgment

When it comes down to it, sometimes the best tool for checking if a website is legitimate is your own judgment. A site may have SSL certification, or have no reviews on BBB, but this does not necessarily guarantee that this is a legitimate site.
If even after a little research you are still unsure about using the website or company, it is better to stay away, than risk having to deal with hackers, viruses, or fraudulent charges.

Additional Tips to Help You Stay Safe:

Try Alternative Payment Methods
Even if a website or company seems legitimate, they could still possibly be hacked themselves. If you have the option when purchasing something online, choose an alternative payment method that does not directly link to your credit card or banking information. Many websites offer the option of checking out through PayPal. PayPal is a popular and secure service that will help keep your information safe when shopping online.
Avoid Using Public Wi-Fi
While it may be tempting to connect to a public Wi-Fi network when traveling, one should take caution when doing so. With public Wi-Fi you are unable to tell how secure the network is, as well as who else is connected to the network. By using public Wi-Fi you are opening yourself up to the potential dangers of hackers and identity theft.
If you absolutely must use a public Wi-Fi network, then be sure to find a VPN to use. A VPN will encrypt any information being sent or received, making it nearly impossible for anyone to access your personal and confidential information.

Use Strong Passwords
While it may seem like common sense, many people get in a habit of creating passwords that are simply easy to remember. While remembering your passwords is important, it’s often even more important to create strong and unique passwords that will keep unwanted people out of your accounts. When creating a password be sure to use a unique mixture of numbers, lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and characters. Also, don’t use the same password for all your accounts. If you have trouble coming up with and remembering strong passwords, then use a password generating service like LastPass.

Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Computing – Which One Is Best for a Startup?

If you are a startup, you would definitely be looking for an answer to the question of whether to choose public, private or the hybrid cloud computing options. You might have many questions in your head regarding each of these options like which one is best, which is affordable, which one is more compatible with your business and more. You will get answers to all these questions as you read below. Let’s first start by explaining each of these options:

Public Computing

It is the type of cloud computing in which the infrastructure and the services are offered off-site. In the shared resources, public cloud can offer the best kind of efficiency. You can choose public cloud if:
  • The applications that you offer or deal with are used by a lot of people;
  • You have to test and develop the application code;
  • You use SasS apps from the vendor that has the most advanced security strategy;
  • You could use an additional computer during the peak working times;
  • You are working on joint projects;
  • You are working on ad-hoc software developing and you are using PaaS.
With public cloud, you are typically going to get the “pay as you go” services. You pay for how much resources you use. It is an economical option when you have to trim down or boost up the servers time after time.

For this model, you have to pay per hour, so you don’t really need a contract in this case. The hardware is shared. Your server will be sharing the same network devices, storage and hardware as others on the cloud. If you are up for meeting compliance requirements like SOX or PCI, then public cloud isn’t what you need. As everything will be shared, you cannot control the hardware performance. It all depends on the cloud provider to place you on the network and the hardware. This model is basically a self-managed system, you will have to configure and manage everything by yourself.
Usually public cloud systems are used by the web servers where compliance requirements and security is not an issue.

Private computing

It is the type of cloud in which the infrastructure and the services are maintained on some private network. If you want the best security and the greatest level of control, then private cloud is what you need. However, you will have to purchase the software and manage the infrastructure and maintain everything yourself.  Here are some reasons why you might need private cloud:

  • When the business you do is typically based on data and applications and for that you need the best security and control;
  • When you are a part of such an industry where privacy and security matters a lot;
  • When you are running a company that is large and the business operations need to be efficient and effective in all cases;
  • If you are running such an organization where the hardware, network and data storage must be exclusive, and you don’t want these resources to be accessed by any other client even if it is within the same data center, then private cloud computing is what you need.
If you want compliance like HIPPA, or PCI, private cloud is the best option to get it delivered. The network, storage and hardware in a private cloud can be easily customizable. If at any position, you need a dedicated server for running the high speed apps, then you can easily integrate the hardware into your private cloud and make a virtual + dedicated solution.

Hybrid computing

Now comes the hybrid computing which from the name is obvious might include public and private cloud computing options. It is one of best environment you can create for your business, but everything has a bad side and so does hybrid. You will have to spend a lot of time in keeping track of the security platforms and you will have to make sure that all your business sectors are connected for communication.

If you are such an organization that which offers services in various vertical markets, then you might need a hybrid solution for interacting with your clients and keep the data secured.
For a startup, the best cloud computing solution is definitely going to be private cloud because of the level of security and resource optimization it provides. However, if you don’t have strict security requirements and you are looking for a cheap option, then FortyCloud public computing would be a good choice.

It’s Much Bigger than Content Delivery – What to Expect from Your CDN in 2015

e already know what people expect from their technology in the year 2015: way too much. And you know why? Back to the Future, that’s why. No matter how impressive some CDNs may be and how much they offer in addition to their content delivery services, it’s never going to be enough because we were told that by now we would have hoverboards.

Here’s the thing, though: there’s no doubt that if any of us had a hoverboard in our possession, it would be a matter of seconds before we hit a building, tree, or large animal, and ended up in a tangled heap on the ground. It would be unavoidable. But since crashing can be avoided in the virtual world, maybe we could all take a minute to appreciate the advancements made in Content Delivery Networks. They’re pretty impressive. Here’s what you can expect from a good CDN this year.

The facts

CDN stands for Content Delivery Network, which is conveniently exactly what it sounds like: a network of servers that helps deliver your content to users more quickly and efficiently. It’s a network of servers located all over the globe, all of which are storing your website’s information in order to ensure the fastest possible load times for visitors to your website. This is because the closer a user is to a server, the better the load time.

If you’re not using a CDN, your website will be stored on one server in one location, let’s say Wyoming. So all of the website users from Wyoming will enjoy a great user experience on your site, while users in Maine, Newfoundland, England, India and beyond will be drumming their fingers waiting for your website because they’re geographically further away. With a CDN, each user will be redirected to the nearest server for the best possible service from your website. And because your content will be stored on more than one server, you can be sure your servers will never be overwhelmed by traffic, leading to a crash.

Who needs a CDN?

Needing a CDN isn’t a bad thing. In fact, it’s the opposite. The website owners who would most benefit from a CDN are the owners of websites that get a good amount of traffic, especially if it’s from various locations around the world.
Additionally, websites that host multimedia content like music or games, live video broadcasts, video files, or file downloads would also greatly benefit from a CDN. Not only do CDNs optimize user experience, but they also help your website use its resources more efficiently.

Additional features to look for in a CDN

A good CDN will do more than keep your website from crashing and help give each of your users the optimal browsing experience. Here are a few of the features you should be demanding from your CDN in 2015:

  • ynamic content caching optimization: Pretty much all CDNs will cache the static content from your website, like images and static HTML, in order to create quicker load times. But what about dynamic content? Should your users have to wait longer just because you have a more advanced website? A good CDN will vote no on that and work to ‘learn’ about your content, caching dynamic content that qualifies as semi-dynamic for as long as it remains unchanged on your website. This is achieved by your CDN continuously profiling your website.
  • Networking optimization: This is just one more way your CDN should be helping your website load faster for your users while also keeping your website from wasting its resources. Networking optimization techniques include removing unnecessary characters from your source code, compressing images, on-the-fly compression of CSS, HTML and JavaScript files, reusing open sessions, and managing connections more efficiently.
  • DDoS protection: You know what really helps keep your users having good experiences while visiting your website? Not getting nailed with a DDoS attack that renders your website unusable. While a good CDN will provide dynamic content caching optimization and networking optimization, a great CDN will provide DDoS protection services that will keep attack traffic from reaching and impacting your website.
  • Load balancing: A great CDN will also provide you with load balancing, which distributes your website traffic across a number of servers in order to optimize your website’s performance as well as reduce server load. This will likely include real-time evaluation of server health in order to detect outages and prevent downtime.
The world may not be what Marty McFly and Doc Brown told us it would be in 2015, but if you’ve got a website with traffic coming in from any number of locales, it’s a fine time to be alive. A good Content Delivery Network will keep your website running optimally for users all over the world and make crashes something you only have to worry about in terms of that hoverboard you just might get one of these days.

Seasonal Hearth

Hope

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches

in the soul,
And sings the tune--without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.

I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me....

Frosty November Morning

“Frost is the greatest artist in our clime -
He paints in nature and describes in rime”

"Two sounds of autumn are unmistakable,
the hurrying rustle of crisp leaves blown
along the street or road by a gusty wind,
and the gabble of a flock of migrating geese.
Both are warnings of chill days ahead,
fireside and topcoat weather."

Ere night, an icy shroud, which morning's rays
Wildly shine upon and slowly melt..."

"Have you ever noticed a tree standing
naked against the sky,

How beautiful it is?
All its branches are outlined, and in its nakedness
There is a poem, there is a song.
Every leaf is gone and it is waiting for the spring.
When the spring comes, it again fills the tree with
The music of many leaves,
Which in due season fall and are blown away.
And this is the way of life."

There is rhythm in the woods, and in the fields,
Nature yields:
And the harvest voices crying,
Blend with Autumn zephyrs sighing;
Tone and color, frost and fire,
Wings the nocturne Nature plays upon her lyre."

In November
"In November, the earth is growing quiet.
It is making its bed, a winter bed for flowers and small creatures. The bed is white and silent, and much life can hide beneath its blankets....
In November, the trees are standing all sticks and bones, Without their leaves, how lovely they are, spreading their arms like dancers. They know it is time to be still...
...
In November, at winter's gate, the stars are brittle. The sun is sometimes a friend. And the world has tucked her children in, with a kiss on their heads, till spring..."

'Love is patient,
 love is kind. It
does not envy,
 it does not
 boast, it is not
proud.
It is not rude,
 it is not
self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.'

When we are lost what image tells?
Nothing resembles nothing. Yet nothing
Is not blank. It is configured Hell:
Of noticed clocks on winter afternoons, malignant stars,
Demanding furniture. All unrelated
And with air between. The terror. Is it of Space, of Time?
Or the joined trickery of both conceptions?
To the lost, transfixed among the self-inflicted ruins,
All that is non-air (if this indeed is not deception)
Is agony immobilized. While Time,
The endless idiot, runs screaming round the world.

I've laid faced-down for so long;
my heart is asleep.

It thumps like static through
my atretic cavities.
It contorts as my lungs try to
scream it awake.

Each breath prolongs the
eventual decay of my diaphragm,
even as my insides already
float in it's own purulence.

                                                    I'm such a corpse now,
but you're not done with me.
All I can taste is the rotting
inside my tongue as you
reach inside to further taint
the nature within.
I feel each vein in your fingers.
My spine grows around them
like a dark forest falsely
looking for sunlight.
All I can see is an autopsy
as you bring them to my lips.
I still feel those damned things
on the inside, and I still taste
you rotting in my tongue like
the poison I ingested
last summer.
Like cyanide; a respiratory failure.

I'm so dead now,
but you're the ghost galvanizing
my grave.

Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
But you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone

Just the other night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
And hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers
Your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
Then forever can begin

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

Whisper three words and I'll come runnin'
And girl you know that I'll be there
I'll be there
You are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

AH! who'll e'er those days restore,
Those bright days of early love
Who'll one hour again concede,
Of that time so fondly cherish'd!
Silently my wounds I feed,
And with wailing evermore
Sorrow o'er each joy now perish'd.

Ah! who'll e'er the days restore
Of that time so fondly cherish'd.

On many an idle day have I grieved over lost time.

But it is never lost, my lord.
Thou hast taken every moment of my life in thine own hands.

Hidden in the heart of things thou art nourishing seeds into sprouts,

buds into blossoms, and ripening
flowers into fruitfulness.

I was tired and sleeping on my idle bed
and imagined all work had ceased.

In the morning I woke up
and found my garden full with wonders of flowers.

When the creation was new and all the stars shone in their first
splendor, the gods held their assembly in the sky and sang
`Oh, the picture of perfection! the joy unalloyed!'
But one cried of a sudden
`It seems that somewhere there is a break in the chain of light
and one of the stars has been lost.'

The golden string of their harp
snapped
their song stopped, and they cried in dismay
`Yes, that lost star was the best,
she was the glory of all heavens!'
From that day the search is unceasing for her,
and the cry goes on from one to the other
that in her the world has lost its one joy!
Only in the deepest silence of night the stars smile
and whisper among themselves
`Vain is this seeking! unbroken perfection is over all!'

"One More Time"
Nothing I must do
Nowhere I should be
No one in my life to answer to but me

No more candlelight
No more purple skies
No one to be near, as my heart slowly dies

If I could hold you one more time
Like in the days when you were mine
I'd look at you till I was blind
So you would stay
I'd say a prayer each time you smiled
Cradle the moments like a child
I'd stop the world if only I could hold you
one more time

I've memorized your face
I know your touch by heart
Still lost in your embrace
I dream of where you are

If I could hold you one more time
Like in the days when you were mine
I'd look at you till I was blind
So you would stay
I'd say a prayer each time you smiled
Cradle the moments like a child
I'd stop the world if only I could
hold you one more time
One more time
